The Acavallo Arena AluPro Stirrup Irons would be a fantastic addition to your tack, offering increased safety and comfort throughout use.

The main feature is the unique, stress-actuated locking and release mechanism located between the lower end of the outer, pivoting stirrup arm and the foot support plate/tread, which opens when triggered.

Crafted from a durable aluminum, with a stainless steel tread and special polyamide material opening arm, these stirrup irons are lightweight and hard wearing. Thanks to the design and construction, these stirrup irons are less rigid and offer higher levels of comfort compared to conventional styles. 

The springing stirrup bow and foot support assembly is extremely shock-absorbing, making the Arena Irons ideal for a range of disciplines. This has considerable benefits for the rider, including minimised impacts on the ankles and strong relief for your feet, knees and hips.

Finished with smart Acavallo branding and available in a range of colours.

    First of all, REDPOST Equestrian rocks. These stirrups were half the price that they sold for in the US, and they were delivered in 3 days! The stirrups were for my daughter. I love them because they are safety stirrups, which are essential for XC, and she loves the blue color. This is her second pair of these same stirrups. The other pair have held up well and still look new. Fantastic deal from a wonderful company.

    Helped with leg stability and haven’t lost my stirrup since switching. Looks fab. So far doesn’t appear to scratch easily and they clean up well.

    Lovely stirrups. Light weight, the footbed is wide and comfortable, the grips help from slipping. I felt secure and with the safety spring I also felt safe. Ive been recommending them to all my friends. I got the rose gold and they are a true rose gold, beautiful.

    Absolutely LOVE these! Heard good things about the Opera but like safety stirrups so when I spotted these I thought I’d try them. Use them for jumping and they really make me keep my feet in the stirrups whatever the jump with the cheese grater tread plus very comfy. Highly recommend

    Hi Jen, Our supplier has provided us with the following measurements: footplate length 11cm, footplate width 6.5cm. I hope this helps.

    Hi Jess, At the time of writing (July 2020) from looking at the BE rulebook it looks like these stirrups are legal in the cross country & showjumping phases (https://edition.pagesuite-professional.co.uk/html5/reader/production/default.aspx?pubname=&edid=1de5a026-4851-49a3-8850-3ce1902f1659&pnum=1). I have not been able to see anything in the BSJA handbook but you have any doubts then I would recommend contacting BE & BSJA so they can confirm. I hope this helps.

    Hello Sarah, Our supplier has advised that the Acavallo Arena AluPro Stirrups are suitable for British Dressage, however, you would need to ensure that the colour that you purchase is permitted. Hope this helps.
