Myler Hanging Cheek Low Port Comfort Snaffle MB 04 Bit

The Myler Hanging Cheek Low Port Comfort Snaffle Bit features the Myler MB04 Level 2 mouth piece and Myler Hanging Cheek side.

The MB04 mouthpiece is ideal for the young-minded horse who can take longer to bring back & refocus after a spook. The innovative design of port gives some tongue room, but will rotate onto the tongue if the rider needs a stronger signal. The port gives the tongue room and make it easier for the horse to swallow and to move better.

When activated, the MB04 mouthpiece will first collapse to wrap the outer lips & bars, giving the horse some warning before it acts on top of the tongue.

Hanging cheek sides anchor the bit to the cheek pieces, so stands the bit up in the mouth, rotating the mouthpiece up off the tongue when the rider relaxes the contact. This gives the horse a clearer reward. The reins will slide up the cheek rings to
a certain extent, but the Hanging Cheek does allow a small degree of downward rotation of the mouthpiece, moving the port away from the tongue and facilitating the Independent Side Movement. It also applies a small amount of poll pressure.

This bit is British Dressage legal.
