Measure Your Rug

Fitting Guide

  1. To find out your horse's rug size measure from the centre of the chest to the rear of the hind leg (A to B).
  2. Once you have the measurement refer to the rug sizing guide above (for guide purposes only)
  3. When you receive the rug please ensure you try the rug on over a clean sheet. This keeps the rug clean and hair free allowing for its return if the size is incorrect.
  4. Check that the rug fits correctly - Correctly fitted horse rugs should not be too tight across the shoulder & should reach the base of the horses tail (excluding tail flap)
  5. The rug must fit correctly before leaving the horse unattended. A rug that is too tight may rub and pull across the shoulder. Too big and it may slip and be trodden on.
  6. Please Note: Except in the case of faulty goods we are unable to except returned rugs unless they are clean, hair-free, include all tags and are suitable for re-sale.

    Really nice head collar, well made but the sizing is well off. Ordered a cob for my Welsh Section D (who is always a cob size)and it was really tight on the noseband, but fit okay lengthwise. Have sent it back to exchange for a full. It will probably be true to fit if you have a horse with a thin face (like a thoroughbred or Arab)

    Good quality headcollar and the fleece padded noseband and poll is a really nice touch and the reason I bought it. The raspberry colour is quite bright/pink and suits my black mare. I took one star off as it is quite expensive compared to other brands of same style. True to size.

    I returned this headcollar as it was too small for my big boy who is a Clydesdale X . I’ve given the head collar 5 stars as it was lovely but just not suitable for my horse, better suited to a finer head!

  • Should I get the cob or full size?

    Hello, Thank you for your enquiry. We have measured the cob and full against each other (the cob on the loosest setting and full on the tightest). There is not much difference, we would recommend if you are planning on wearing over a bridle at any point then to go for the full size. What size bridle does your horse wear?
