The Snuggy Hoods Zip Turnout Head is constructed of a robust, water repellent, comfortable and fully breathable fabric. It is ideal for pairing with high-necked rugs, both in the field and stable, to prevent mud and stain stains on your horse's face.

Extensively trialed, it features generous eye holes and ear covers, along with carefully constructed seams that avoid pressure on sensitive poll and muzzle areas and a double Velcro fastening behind the poll, for extra security and an excellent fit. The shape extends slightly along the neck for additional coverage and comfort and ears come as standard to provide even more protection. There is also a YKK zip that runs from the chin under the neck for ease of use.

Included with this Snuggy Head is a spare Velcro piece. This should be fixed to your rug to then fasten this head to using the attached D-Ring, to ensure it remains in place throughout wear.

  • The weather proof fabric has a medium amount of stretch so choose the size which best describes your horse when referring to the size guide above. This applies to Turn Out Hoods, Headless Turn Out Hoods, Turn Out Heads, Sweet Itch Hoods, Sweet Itch Heads and Headless Sweet Itch Hoods.
  • Fleece only has a 2 x way stretch so choose bigger rather than smaller if in between sizes.
