Red Horse Sole Cleanse spray disinfects the frog and sole to reduce and prevent foul odour and blackening. Its active ingredients destroy bacterial and fungal microbes and help healthy tissue to grow.

This formula can be used to flush cracks in the white line, frog and other crevices in the horse’s foot prior to packing them with Red Horse Artimud.

Directions for use:

Shake before each use. Ensure feet are picked out and clean prior to application. Apply daily to problem areas as long as required. Apply weekly as a preventative measure.

    I used this to clean my horses frogs before packing them with artimud and it got rid of thrush within a few days. I now use this on a weekly basis as a preventative measure and seems to be working a treat.

    Use this to keep thrush under control!! My horses right hind is susceptible to thrush I give a spray after hoof picked out everyday and it keeps it under control! It gets into all those little crevices and stops thrush thriving!

    Great product, we have a mare with great feet but very flat soles so we use hoof treatments all year round. I love this, it is easy to use and has kept her feet in great condition.

    I’ve only been using this a few days, along with the sole paint, and I’ve been pleased with the results. All visible signs of thrush have gone and the smell too. I’m now using it once a week to maintain this.

    I’ve been using this product both at work and on my own horse for the past year, as and when needed. A quick spritz for a few days in a row at the first sign of thrush and it clears right up; daily use on more developed cases does wonders. It makes catching and treating thrush such a quick and easy process. Definitely recommend!

    Absolutely brilliant, I am so pleased with this disinfectant, I use it with the other red horse products and within a week the difference to his frog is amazing. No more disgusting smelly feet.

  • My horse has had 3 abscesses on the same hoof over the last 4 months. They seem to clear up but after a couple of weeks it comes back. The abscesses are all at his toe, on either side of the original abscess. I have contacted my vet, but would like product help with the infection?

    Hello, We have contacted Red Horse for their advice, and they have responded with the following: Sole Cleanse should help disinfect the area but we would be more inclined to use Red Horse Stronghorn which will do the same with the added benefit of toughening the sole and frog and hopefully make bruising of the area less likely. Hope this helps.
